BRIDGING - The Video Diary (part 1)
I am currently sitting watching the sun crest over the Duomo of Milan. It is fabulous. There is a woman next to me who is texting with two phones AT THE SAME TIME (true story), and there is an extremely vibrant Englishman on my left who is trying to communicate that he wants the BIGGEST Aperol Spritz possible... it's 8.30am. Mat is VERY content with his croissant. (Duomo di Milano, photo by me) Currently, as I write, Mathew and I are on our honeymoon. Those of you who follow

You're allowed to be proud!
2017 was a crazy year for me. I got married (I've heard that's a big deal), Mat and I also sold our first two flips, bought more properties, refurbished our own home and to top it all off, won an award for it all... Not the wedding. We didn't win an award for that... Though we absolutely should have, it was a bloody good day. All in all, it was one of those years that I feel will define a decade. When our future children ask us about the year Trump moved into the White House,

'The Beginner's Guide To Investing' Series (podcasts and all things paper)
Since last week's win, I have been inundated by people contacting me from the community who are just starting out on their property journeys. Winning 165 (but where on earth are all the women?!)
For those of you who don’t follow me on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) – shameless social plug so early on, this is a record), you might not have noticed that I won an award on Saturday. In the grand scheme of life, given Mr Trump’s antics and the Weinstein scandal, this is not huge news. But in our household it certainly is and I will continue to unashamedly shout about it for a little while longer. Please bear with me. So. To summarise… I (and Property 165) was

Networking: why it's my drug of choice
I know some serial networkers. Not your average, 'I attend a couple of networking events a month' sort of networkers, but the 'I'm at an event every single day including weekends' sort of networkers. I even know someone who has special straws that she takes to every event so that her lipstick doesn't smudge (you know who you are!). And I admire this dedication. Not only the showing up, but the foresight to have a specific networking utensil with you at all times (are straws u

Press Release - Nellie McQuinn, Property Investor Awards Finalist!
What better way to kick off my brand new blog than with this? It's official, I've been sitting on this news for a while but I am now
